The SpikeVest Waistband Stay-Strap is a practical accessory designed to help keep the SpikeVest waistband securely in place, especially for dogs with a very thin build where the waistband may otherwise hang loose.
My greyhound has that impossibly skinny waist where everything slips, and this stay-strap finally solves it. The extra grip holds the waistband exactly where it should be through our whole walk, no constant readjusting.
Our greyhound has zero waist to speak of, and this strap finally keeps the vest from sliding back over her hips even on a quick trot around the block. The extra grip along the inside makes all the difference, easy to clip on and forget about. Just wish it came in a darker color, but the fit is spot
Took this on a long hike with my skinny whippet mix, and the stay-strap held the waistband in place the whole time without any readjusting. The strap is sturdy and the fit was easy to adjust, which made the whole walk way less fiddly.
