The reinforced stitching held up perfectly on our first rocky trail run, and the collar stayed put even when my Rottweiler lunged after a deer. He usually fights any neckwear, but this one he forgot about within five minutes.

My 110-pound mastiff mix barely notices he's wearing it, which says a lot given how heavy-duty the spikes are. The way it's balanced for large breeds means he can still run and play fetch without any awkward tugging at his neck.

The spikes sit flush against the collar so they don't dig into her neck, yet they feel solid enough to actually stop a determined bite. My 95-pound Rottweiler wears it all day at the ranch and forgets it's on, which is saying something for a dog who hates anything around her throat.
